From Our Archives: Gratitude 9 Ways

by | Nov 22, 2017 | General Health & Wellness

always_thanksHere’s something to be grateful for this Thanksgiving: practicing gratitude can be a boon to your health.

Repeatedly, scientific research has shown gratitude’s benefits to mental, social and physical health alike. It’s a stress buster and immune booster.

That’s reason enough to make gratitude an everyday thing – not just a one- or two-day-a-year thing. Sometimes it can seem hard to muster, especially in the face of stress, loss or other challenges. Yet practicing it regularly during normal times winds up making us more resilient when times are hard.

Here are some of our favorite quotes for keeping in a thankful state of mind – at any time of the year:

Meantime, all of us here at the office wish you a safe, wonderful and blessed Thanksgiving..

In the end, though, maybe we must all give up trying
to pay back the people in this world who sustain our lives.
In the end, maybe it’s wiser to surrender
before the miraculous scope of human generosity
and to just keep saying thank you, forever and sincerely,
for as long as we have voices.
